Programs & Initiatives

Our Blue Future adopts a multi-stakeholder approach, providing a structured, transparent and highly participatory collaboration between two or more stakeholder groups working together towards a common goal. This offers a significant opportunity to generate more innovative, appropriate, locally-owned and ultimately sustainable solutions, supporting transformative change.

Working with Collective Institute Leadership

The Collective Leadership Institute (CLI) plays a key role in supporting Our Blue Future’s multi-stakeholder approach and strengthening the capacities of its members. It contributes expertise in bringing leadership concepts to enlivening the alliance by encouraging a high-quality and inclusive stakeholder engagement and dialogue process within Our Blue Future.

This includes assessing and leveraging Our Blue Future strengths in the Collective Leadership Compass to navigate a complex transformative change process through the four phases of the Dialogic Change Model, below. This helps maintain a focus on building Our Blue Future as a diverse multi-stakeholder partnership that is inclusive, participatory and results-oriented.
